The Department of Computer Science was established with the vision of providing quality professional education to students in and around the city. Over the years, the department has expanded its academic offerings and facilities to keep pace with the rapid advancements in the field of technology.

It is a self-financed department with rich infrastructure, well-equipped computer laboratories, and robust networking facilities supported by and DHCP servers on OpenSUSE Linux 15.6 Leap. The department also provides computer and network maintenance services across the campus.
