Department of Mathematics is an active department of the college from its establishment in 1964 catering quality education in Mathematics with a motto to spread knowledge to all rural background students of Sangamner and Akole Tahsil from last 50 years.

The Department has introduced M. Sc (Mathematics) and UG (Statistics) course in 2017. The Department has its active participation in student research scheme, Avishkar research project etc.

Goal of the Department

Building up the Mathematical and Scientific attitude in students through quality education to make them globally competent.

Objectives of the Department

• To give unbiased Mathematical education to UG and PG classes.
• Run all classes strictly according to UGC and University of Pune syllabus guidelines.
• To achieve 100 % the results of all classes.
• To pursue higher degree in mathematics by staff members to sustain academic standard of department.
• To strengthen the relation between all staff of the department and with the members of other departments in college.
