The B.Voc (Agriculture and Soil Science) department of S.P. Sanstha's, Sangamner College was established in 2018. Since its inception, the department of B.Voc (Agriculture and Soil Science) has emerged as one of the leading departments affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The department offers B.Voc (Agriculture and Soil Science) three year degree course. The course has received overwhelming response from the students since its inception. Presently, The department is headed by Dr M.S.More. The main focus of department are to bridge the skill gap by understanding the needs of rural and tribal students of the region, To make students practically prompt, develop managerial skills and create awareness about entrepreneurship among them. The Department now develops entrepreneurship qualities and skills in students at UG level.

There are experienced and well-qualified faculty members for UG classes.The department has a well-furnished and well-equipped laboratory. Department received UGC Grant for running this course and enriching laboratories, the department has purchased equipment like, flame photometer, spectrophotometer and Nitrogen analyzer have enriched the laboratories. All the faculties are actively involved in research in the field of Soil Science, Organic Farming, Irrigation water management and Agronomy field. Faculties as well as students have achieved many awards and recognitions. Dr. Jayshri B. Kadu has received Gold medal in P.hD programme of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri in December 2019.

Students from our department were selected for state level in Avishkar 2019-2020 under Agriculture Section (UG Level) at State Level Inter-University Competition. The department has successfully organized Four workshop related to agriculture and arranged parents meet under the coordination of Dr J.B. Kadu and A.J. Tambe. Our Deparment organizes four to five guest lectures by eminent scholars of every subject. The department arranges minimum ten field visits per year to expose the students to the practical knowledge about various crop cultivation practices. The department provides one month training to students in various agriculture Industries. Department also organized one educational tour yearly through this students visited various Agricultural Universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Various Agricultural industry.
